My name is Andjena Autar (full first name Andjenadebie), in my forties and living in Belgium (Europe). My parents are from Surinam (South America) en my great -grandparents are from India (Asia). I’m born with an extremely passion for food ( I can eat all day), travelling, learning new things and love my freedom. I have a small social circle and try to spend time with my loved ones.

 

It’s been almost 17 years (August 2006) since I was diagnosed with SLE ( Systemic Lupus Erythematodus) at the age of 23. I had to let go of everything I loved and after years of running my body into the ground I realized I’m fighting life not living it. So I downshifted almost every aspect of my life, I let go my career and study and made myself number 1 priority to get back in good health. It’s a hard and exhausting battle that I fight daily but I’m now stronger than ever!

So I decided to blog about my life, living with Lupus, my Travel stories and Spirituality.

 

I hope I can inspire you to keep ya head up even when the road is hard never give up, chase your dreams, believe in yourself and the power of the Universe. God bless!
